By accessing or using Meta Markets (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Platform. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Platform complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Maintain and update your account information.
• Keep your login credentials confidential.
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Platform Use

The Platform is currently in beta and provides simulated prediction market trading. You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to manipulate markets through coordinated trading, wash trading, or other deceptive practices.
• Use automated systems, bots, or scripts to interact with the Platform without authorization.
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Platform.
• Impersonate any person or entity.
• Harvest or collect user information without consent.

5. Market Rules

Each prediction market on the Platform has specific resolution criteria that determine the outcome. Resolution decisions are made by the Meta Markets team based on publicly verifiable data. All resolution decisions are final. In cases of ambiguity or exceptional circumstances, Meta Markets reserves the right to void a market and refund all participants.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, and the overall design, is the property of Meta Markets or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on the Platform without our express written permission.

7. User Content

By posting comments, analyses, or other content on the Platform, you grant Meta Markets a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with the Platform. You are solely responsible for the content you post and must not post content that is defamatory, obscene, threatening, or otherwise objectionable.

8. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meta Markets shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the Platform, regardless of the cause of action or theory of liability.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, for any reason, without prior notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
